We work with builders, strata and property managers, investors and business owners across Perth and the Karratha region. We place the cover, we explain the wording, and when something goes wrong we run the claim for you.
Most insurance problems surface at claim time, not at renewal.
A contract works policy that expired before the build finished. A subcontractor’s certificate of currency that lapsed and nobody checked. A sum insured set three years ago that no longer covers a rebuild. A business interruption indemnity period too short to actually get you trading again. None of these look like problems until you claim.
That is the work. We read the wording, we check the schedule against what you actually do, and we tell you where the gaps are before they matter.
We ask what you build, who you build for, and what your contracts oblige you to hold. The cover follows from that, not from a product list.
Property, liability, construction, plant, motor, workers compensation and management liability. One broker who can see how the policies fit together and where they leave gaps.
When you claim, we lodge it, present it, and argue it. You are not sitting on hold explaining your own policy to an assessor.
We work with builders, property managers, investors and business owners across Perth and the Karratha area. Tell us what you do and we will work out what you need to hold, what your contracts require, and where your current cover falls short.
Residential and commercial property, including strata and investment portfolios. Sums insured checked against current rebuild costs, not last year’s.
Home Indemnity Insurance through our direct access to the QBE scheme, plus contract works, liability, plant and workers compensation.
Property, interruption, liability, cyber and management liability, built around how your business actually operates.
We lodge, present and argue your claim, and escalate it if the insurer gets it wrong.
As your claims advocate we act for you, not the insurer.
We lodge and present the claim
We prepare the notification, gather the supporting information the insurer needs, and put the claim in the form that gets it assessed properly the first time.
We interpret the wording
Cover disputes usually turn on a definition or an exclusion. We read the policy, work out what it actually says, and identify the benefits and extensions you may not know you hold.
We push back
If we think a decision is wrong, we say so and put the argument. Where it is warranted we escalate to the insurer’s internal dispute resolution process, and to AFCA if it goes that far.
We keep it moving
We chase the insurer and the assessor so you are not the one following up.
What we need from you: prompt notification, honest disclosure, and the records the insurer asks for. The insurer decides the claim. Our job is to make sure it decides on the strongest version of your case.
As your broker we act for you, not the insurer.
We work through the insurers we hold access to, explain where the wordings differ, and put a recommendation in front of you with the reasoning shown.
We would rather you heard it from the people we work with than from us.

I have been using Sarre Insurance Broking Services for personal and business insurance for several years and I would highly recommend them. The team are very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. They always provide insurance that is personalised to my business and personal needs. I have recommended this company to many fellow small business owners, friends and family.
A broker acts for you rather than for an insurer. We work out what cover you need, approach the insurers we hold access to, explain where the wordings and excesses differ, and make a recommendation with the reasoning shown. We then handle renewals, mid-term changes and claims. You get one point of contact instead of a dozen call centres.
You probably do if any of these apply:
If you have one straightforward policy and no contractual obligations, you may not need us.
We lodge the claim, present it with the supporting information the insurer needs, and follow it through to a decision. We interpret the policy wording, push back where we think a position is wrong, and escalate to the insurer’s internal dispute resolution process or to AFCA where that is warranted.
You still need to notify us promptly and provide the records the insurer asks for. The insurer decides the claim, but you are not dealing with them on your own.
We are usually paid a commission by the insurer, calculated as a percentage of the premium you pay. We may also charge a broker fee, which is shown separately on your invoice. As a Steadfast Network Broker we may receive additional payments under Steadfast’s arrangements with insurers. Full details are set out in our Financial Services Guide, and we will tell you what we are paid for your specific policy if you ask.
Call or email us with the change. We will confirm what it does to your cover and your premium before anything is actioned. Tell us early rather than at renewal: changes to what you do, where you operate, your turnover or your assets can affect whether a claim is paid, and most policies cannot be varied retrospectively.
Yes. We arrange property, business interruption, liability, cyber, management liability, motor and workers compensation for businesses, and property and landlord cover for investors. What you need depends on your structure, your contracts and your exposures, which is what we work through
at the first meeting.
We review for these specifically rather than just renewing what is already in place.
We help you understand what WA law and your contracts require you to hold, and make sure the policies we place line up with those obligations. For residential builders that includes Home Indemnity Insurance, compulsory for most work over $20,000, and workers compensation, compulsory in WA.
Where your building contracts specify limits or named insureds, we check the policy actually delivers them. Compliance obligations remain yours; our job is to make sure you can see them clearly.
We work from the contract rather than a checklist: what the principal requires, who needs to be a named insured, what the works are worth, what plant is on site, and what happens if the programme runs over. No programme covers everything, so we also tell you what is not covered and let you decide whether to carry that risk or insure it.
We review your subcontractor arrangements from your side. What your contracts should require them to hold, how to collect and diarise certificates of currency, and where a gap in their cover becomes your exposure. We can also arrange cover for subcontractors as clients in their own right, which is a separate engagement with its own advice.
One conversation tells you what the cover actually does, whether the price is fair, and what the rest of the market says about both. No jargon and no sales pitch.
Call us now, most enquiries are settled in one conversation.
Answered 24 hours a day: a broker in office hours (8am–6pm Mon–Fri), and after hours we take your details and a broker rings you back from 8am on the next business day.
